Victorian 14ct Gold Diamond, Seed Pearl & Enamel Mourning Ring

A beautiful and increasingly rare Victorian mourning ring crafted in solid 14ct gold and richly decorated with traditional memorial symbolism. The ring features an elegant circular cluster head centred with a small old-cut diamond set within a finely formed star motif, symbolising eternal remembrance. Surrounding the star is a halo of natural seed pearls, a classic element in Victorian mourning jewellery representing tears and purity. The head is framed by black enamel, while the shoulders are decorated with enamel panels featuring delicate gold scrollwork, creating a striking contrast between the deep black enamel and the warm gold. Although the ring carries no visible hallmark — which is common with many antique pieces of the period — it has been professionally XRF tested and confirmed as solid 14ct gold. A particularly attractive example of Victorian memorial jewellery, combining diamond, pearls, and enamel in a refined and highly wearable design. The ring remains in great antique condition, with only minor enamel wear consistent with age.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order. Once the item is received and inspected, we’ll issue a full refund minus shipping costs.

Returns must be sent via a fully insured, tracked, and signed-for postal service at the customer’s expense.

Items must be returned in their original condition, unaltered, undamaged, and in the original packaging.

For international returns, please mark the parcel clearly as “Returned Goods” to avoid import charges. Any fees incurred by us due to incorrect labelling will be deducted from the refund amount.
