Why CAD Matters in Custom Ruby Jewelry

A custom setting should be designed around the actual measurements of the ruby and any supporting stones.

CAD allows the proportions, dimensions, stone placement and construction to be reviewed before production begins.

For rings, this may include setting height and shank width. For earrings and pendants, it can help refine overall length, articulation and the relationship between ruby and diamond elements.

The detailed 3D CAD carries a $25 non-refundable design fee. If the commission proceeds, the $25 is deducted from the final bill.
